Religion

Religion is a unique protected class because it is a protected choice. Protecting individuals' freedoms to exercise their own spirituality is a core element in our foundational freedoms in the United States. 

Since qualities of this protected class are neutral to any single religion, it creates a wide generalities for the proper facilitation and implementation of religion related policies in the workplace. 

It is a protected class for specific reasons, together we will discover why that is and what we can do next to be a vessel for positive change.

Ashley King, MA. SHRM-CP

Ashley is an award winning talent acquisition professional with over 15 years of experience in the hiring space. She stared studying social equity in 2011 and began her journey in talent in 2014.  From external recruiting Ashley moved into the corporate sector where she would work for a Fortune 500 organization, a silicon valley start-up, and experience the consulting adventure of a lifetime. She was best known for her work as Head of Talent at Bevy, which includes features from Forbes, TechCrunch, LinkedIn and more.
